This project involved the refurbishment and extending of a top floor apartment set over two levels within a converted warehouse building. The stunning setting affords views of the City of London’s famous landmarks as well as the Canary Wharf Tower from the upper level “glass box” and wrap around roof terrace.

The spaces were re-configured to locate all of the sleeping accommodation on the lower level enabling the living areas to move upstairs and take full advantage of the views. A curved glass staircase was introduced within an existing double height space to connect the two levels and create an impressive entrance.

Birch Lane
This bungalow has been extended to create a new living room, large family kitchen and dining area. In additon a utility area, library and en-suite bedroom have been created as part of a wider refurbishment.
The use of a vaulted ceiling, full height glazing and rooflights bring natural light deep into the home.
The new spaces are strongly connected to the large rear garden where a new terrace and external eating area have been created.
New Road
This contemporary extension onto a 1960's built home creates new family living space as well as an additional bedroom, en-suite and dressing room accommodation at first floor.
The use of timber cladding and green roof softens the design and allows the house to sit sympathetically within its maturing gardens.
Forest Drive East
This rear extension to a family home increased the size of what had been a very cramped kitchen.
By bringing natural light into the centre of the home new life was breathed into an existing space which had previously been just an area of circulation.

The full refurbishment of this large family home was undertaken to create accommodation suitable for modern living. A number of additions added over the years resulted in a confused layout and had amongst other things rendered the front entrance door redundant. By re-configuring and opening up existing spaces a large living kitchen and four en-suite bedrooms were created. The main entrance door was re-located and the staircase turned around to form a generous and light welcome to the home.
